I'm Derry. I'm a Forest School Leader, Holistic Health Therapist, Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher.
Through Wild & Well workshops, events and gatherings, it's my intention to help adults and children connect deeply and joyfully to the natural world with mindfulness, movement, bushcraft, foraging, ancestral skills and nature education.
To blossom, bloom and thrive!
All of my offerings are rooted in nature and my belief that leading a nature centred life, that's connected to the elements, the cycles and the seasons, is vital when it comes to cultivating good health and wellbeing.

Why Wild & Well?
I’ve worked in the world of health and wellness for over two decades delivering classes, workshops, and coaching to adults. And, since 2021, with preschools, primary schools, local authorities and organisations, leading outdoor learning and nature education for children.
I’ve witnessed first-hand the positive and powerful impact that nature connection can have for both adults and children alike - physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
As well as taking my word for it, you can find a myriad of scientific studies out there evidencing the many benefits of nature connection and also the many ill-effects associated with the loss of that relationship.
Spending time outdoors regularly, and in a meaningful way, may sound simple enough. But in the fast paced and technologically driven world that we live in, we can all too easily find ourselves disconnected from the natural world around us and, in turn, completely disconnected from ourselves.
We ARE nature, after all!
Wild & Well is my small way of helping you to slow down a little, to reconnect and rediscover that innate bond that you have with the flora and the fauna, the earth and the sky.

at The Sussex Country Yurt, Warnham.
Escape the hectic heat of the summer and find some sanctuary and space with me at the beautiful
Sussex Country Yurt.
I’ll lead you in some soothing, soulful practices, blending gentle movement, mindfulness and meditation rooted in nature and the surrounding season.
Our time together will include:

Gentle Hatha flow and restorative yoga.

Nature inspired meditation and mindfulness practice.

Ayurvedic wisdom for wellness during the season.

Herbal tea, biscuits and connection, with other lovely, like-minded souls.

Autumn Equinox 🌾
wild & Well Gathering
Sunday 20th September, 4-6pm
at The Sussex Country Yurt, Warnham.
Join me on the eve of the Autumn Equinox, for an afternoon of gentle movement, mindful meditation and nature connection, honouring the shift in seasons, from fruitfulness to harvest.
Set in the surroundings of the beautiful Sussex Country Yurt, we’ll take time to slow down, consciously connect and align our bodies and minds with the mellow magic of autumn time.
Our time together will include:

Slow Hatha yoga flow and deeply restorative stretching.

Nature connection through mindfulness and sensory awareness.

Calming and relaxing breathwork and guided meditation.

Herbal tea, biscuits and the opportunity to connect with other lovely, like-minded souls.

In addition to my own events, I’m always open to collaborating with like-minded folk or hosting bespoke gatherings or workshops for children or adults – wellness, bushcraft, foraging or Forest School style events.
